Beatrice's focus is on leadership and strategic communication. In the private sector, she has coached Board members and supported a global organisation on leadership communication and engagement with strategy.
In Government departments, her work has been around leadership and building a performance culture. She is an adviser for the Local Government Leadership Centre.
Beatrice is a qualified executive coach and certified to administer psychometric tests including the Myers Briggs Type Indicator. In her first career, Beatrice was a TV foreign correspondent and newscaster. She left BBC news for writing and consulting, initially in the field of crisis management and corporate reputation, in 1994.
She is the author of four books and has worked in the US, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Beatrice has a degree in English and Philosophy from the University of Cape Town. She is a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council.
